Sep.22-25, 2025
Through previous achievements with the ICD Youth Club and NOURISH Initiative, founder Annabelle Huang was incredibly honored to be invited as the only Taiwanese representative youth delegate for the UN General Assembly 2025 (UNGA80) and Climate Week. Below are the conferences she attended.
Jun-Dec. 2025
To promote environmental science and sustainable education, we are on a mission to donate 120 tablets to elementary school students across 6 countries. With your support, more than 4,000 children will gain easier access to online resources about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and vital knowledge for their future.
Apr.02-05, 2025
ICD Youth Club raised $28,000 to support school meals in Palau, funded a greenhouse to improve nutrition, and donated microwaves to local schools—thanks to strong partnerships with TaiwanICDF and the Taiwan Embassy in Palau.
As the world faces major challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and the unequal distribution of natural resources, we firmly believe that youth are not only the bearers of the future but also the leaders of change today.
That is why we founded the International Cooperation and Development Youth Club (ICD Youth Club)—a platform where high school students passionate about international public affairs and environmental sustainability can transform their ideals into meaningful action.
The club began its initial planning phase in September 2023 and was officially established in April 2024 at Taipei American School. Upholding the core mission of the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) to advance global collaboration, the ICD Youth Club is committed to promoting global citizenship through youth-led fundraising initiatives, environmental science advocacy, volunteer service, cultural dialogue, and policy engagement—bridging local and international efforts.
As students from various high schools in Taiwan and abroad have joined and formed new chapters, we are steadily building a value-driven, human-centered global youth action network.
Cultivating Globally-Minded Youth Leaders
With international cooperation at its core, we empower students to understand global issues and engage in local action—becoming advocates of “thinking globally, acting locally.”
Fostering Cross-Cultural Understanding and Equal Dialogue
More than just exchanging resources, we emphasize listening and mutual respect across cultures, building bridges between global and local communities.
Advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Guided by the UN SDGs, we implement action plans and advocacy initiatives in areas such as education, food security, climate, and health to promote sustainable development.
Empowering Youth to Solve Real-World Problems
We encourage students not only to identify challenges but to actively design and implement innovative solutions—nurturing problem-solving skills and leadership.
Collaborating with Institutions like TaiwanICDF for Hands-On Global Engagement
Through partnership with TaiwanICDF and its international programs, we transform the value of global care into real-world impact and a strong sense of global responsibility.
Youth Are the Agents of Change—Now, Not Just in the Future
We believe youth are not merely future leaders—they are the driving force and spark of hope for the world’s transformation today.
In today’s globalized world, we believe that high school students have the power to contribute meaningfully to positive change. We are not just observers; we are active participants. The International Cooperation and Development Club focuses on knowledge-sharing and youth-driven solutions. Through fundraising and service initiatives, we support TaiwanICDF’s international cooperation projects and help advance education, healthcare, and technology in developing countries.
Our mission goes beyond helping others. We also aim to grow into responsible global citizens with a broad worldview and a strong sense of purpose. Whether you are passionate about international development or simply want to learn how to make a difference, we warmly invite your high school to join us.
Together, let’s turn our dreams into action and build a more just and hopeful world.
