International Cooperation and Development Youth Club

Since we began planning the establishment of ICD Youth Club in October 2023, we have gradually developed the organization through a series of milestones—including official founding, member recruitment, school-based fundraising sales, and outreach to corporate sponsors. As of June 2025, five high school chapters have joined our alliance, with over 170 active student members working together to improve the welfare of children in Taiwan’s diplomatic partner countries.

ICD Youth Club has launched several fundraising campaigns both on and off campus, including the design and sale of custom T-shirts and canvas tote bags. In addition, we proudly organized the 2025 First International Cooperation and Development Youth Club – Leadership Palau Delegation, a volunteer trip where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the communities we support.

In 2024 alone, ICD Youth Club raised approximately USD $28,000. These funds were used to support multiple initiatives in Palau: providing nutritious meals for elementary and middle school students, building a greenhouse at the Technical Mission of Taiwan, which serves as a key supplier of fruits and vegetables, and purchasing microwaves for the kitchens of Seven local schools—benefiting over A Thousand students.

The response to the volunteer delegation was overwhelming, and we selected 22 student leaders and members from five schools to join this meaningful trip. We are especially grateful for the strong partnership with TaiwanICDF, and the generous support and coordination from the Embassy of Palau, the Ambassador, and the Technical Mission of Taiwan. Thanks to their collaboration, this trip was both impactful and inspiring. All members of ICD Youth Club were honored to contribute to TaiwanICDF’s development efforts in our allied countries and gain hands-on experience in global cooperation.
