Spreading Warmth Through Action: Fall Fair Fundraisers at TAS, MAK, WGHS, and KAS
Empowering Education for Palau Through Youth-Led Collaboration
During school fairs, members of the International Cooperation and Development (ICD) Youth Club proudly joined hands across three international schools—Taipei American School (TAS), Morrison Academy Kaohsiung (MAK), WeGo High School (WGHS), and Kaohsiung American School (KAS)—to support our shared mission of improving educational access for children in Palau.
Through the sale of custom-designed T-shirts and tote bags featuring our club’s logo and message of youth-led global cooperation, students and teachers alike united to transform creativity into meaningful impact. The fairs were filled with energy and purpose—colorful booths, friendly conversations, and the shared belief that small actions can create lasting change.
Turning Compassion Into Action
The proceeds from these sales directly funded essential educational resources for Palau’s elementary schools. With the help of TaiwanICDF and the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Palau, the funds contributed to providing nutritious meal programs (and soon tablets for classroom learning)for students.
Beyond financial support, these efforts symbolize a growing network of youth committed to international cooperation and sustainable development. From MAK’s lively student-run booths to KAS’s creative poster displays and TAS’s bustling fall fair crowds, each event demonstrated the power of collaboration among students from different corners of Taiwan.
