We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to TaiwanICDF, the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Palau and the Ambassador, as well as Chief Tsai and the Taiwan Technical Mission for their full support in guiding us through this meaningful experience. Your thoughtful planning and enthusiastic assistance made it possible for our youth club members to personally witness the impact of our fundraising efforts. We are truly grateful for your dedication and warm hospitality.
The four-day volunteer delegation to Palau was the largest event we have held since the founding of ICD Youth Club. Through a wide range of fundraising activities, charity sales of merchandise, and generous donations from caring businesses, we successfully raised USD $28,000 to support TaiwanICDF’s school meal program for elementary students in Palau.

Due to the limited availability of locally grown fruits and vegetables in Palau, many schoolchildren lack awareness of balanced nutrition and have insufficient access to fresh produce in their daily meals. To address this issue, we donated a greenhouse to the Taiwan Technical Mission’s demonstration farm, which now cultivates a large quantity of fruits and vegetables. This farm supplies over 80% of the vegetables and fruits used in the school lunch programs across Palau, benefiting several thousand elementary students.
Through the construction of this greenhouse, we hope to help more children in Palau receive the proper nutrition they need to grow and thrive. In addition, with the remaining funds, we also donated microwave ovens to seven schools, helping to make the preparation of school meals more efficient and accessible.
